SILVERDOWN STABLES
History of Silverdown Silverdown was established in 1954. Over the years it has been a Riding School, Pony Club Centre, Livery Yard, and has done Riding Holidays,  and Riding for the Disabled. As of January, 2004, we decided only to operate as a Livery Yard. Silverdown has been a family business for the last seventy years. Our daughter, Caroline Schuddeboom BHSAI has 35 years teaching experience, and is available as an Instructor for our Livery Owners.
Stables We have room for eighteen horses. Paddocks We have nine (9) paddocks available, ranging in size from ½ acre to 3 acres. Horsebox and Trailer Parking We have space for customer horsebox and trailer parking.
OUTDOOR ARENA Our outdoor arena is 25m x 60m . We have lots of jumps and lighting to allow nightime use.The surface is shredded rubber on top of sand and cut cables which gives excellent drainage. Horse Walker We have a covered, all season, 4 horse walker. This allows for exercise during bad weather as well as controlled exercise for injured horses. The surface is rubber matting on top of concrete.
